The Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing encourages students at all levels to explore courses that can lead to fulfilling careers in the semiconductor sector. 

We offer educational opportunities for current students and working adults.

 

 

GRADUATE PROGRAMS

NEW Fall 2026 Powering the future of AI: Semiconductor Science and Technology. U of A is pleased to announce a new Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) and a new Master of Science in Physics emphasis. Special Incentives for the Inaugural Fall 2026 Cohort:

  • Tuition Scholarships & Fellowships
  • Paid Instructional Assistant Positions ($500–$1,000/month)
  • Application Fee Waivers
  • LOR Waived (Qualified Applicants)

The SURE program will boost hands-on student learning, expand capacity for semiconductor research and innovation, and better prepare the workforce of tomorrow.

Future Advanced Semiconductor Technology Lab (FASTLab)
  • Hands-on learning environment for undergraduate students across levels and degree programs to learn basic fabrication techniques for prototyping logic, memory and communications devices. Learn more about FASTLab

Fall 2025  Career and Technical Education - Semiconductor Manufacturing Program (CTE-SM)

This first-in-the-nation program will launch with CUSD at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. Visit CUSD's CTE-SM webpage.
