The Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing encourages students at all levels to explore courses that can lead to fulfilling careers in the semiconductor sector. 

We offer educational opportunities for current students and working adults.

 

 

GRADUATE CERTIFICATES

Stackable certificates offer a streamlined educational experience for established professionals and a distinguishing credential for degree-seeking students.

Spring 2025  Accelerated Masters Program (AMP), Semiconductor Science & Technology
  • The AMP will draw on many existing courses spanning the colleges of Science and Engineering, as well as incorporating new, hands-on curriculum components.

SEMICONDUCTOR UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH EXPERIENCES

The SURE program will boost hands-on student learning, expand capacity for semiconductor research and innovation, and better prepare the diverse workforce of tomorrow.
 
This program is scheduled to begin in Fall 2024. More details available soon.

FAST TRACK: SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING

This program is aimed at helping students quickly gain the in-demand skills that employers require. Students receive skills training, project-based experience, industry credentials, and interaction with employers and professionals through Fast Track.

This is a co-curricular, non-credit bearing program scheduled to begin Fall 2024. More details and application available soon.

Spring 2025 Future Advanced Semiconductor Technology Lab (FASTLab)
  • Hands-on learning environment for undergraduate students across levels and degree programs to learn basic fabrication techniques for prototyping logic, memory and communications devices.

Fall 2025  Career and Technical Education - Semiconductor Manufacturing Program (CTE-SM)

This first-in-the-nation program will launch with CUSD at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona.
