Associate Professor, Wyant College of Optical Sciences

Khanh Kieu has a broad interest in optical technologies that are valuable tools in semiconductor research and manufacturing. 

His research group has developed nonlinear optical imaging techniques for the characterization of 2D materials such as graphene, MoS2, and others. These are interesting materials that may play an important role in future components and devices. His group has also been focusing on developing new laser sources that are suitable for many important applications including spectroscopy, precision measurements and materials processing. 

Professor, Chemistry & Biochemistry

Oliver Monti is a Professor in the departments of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Physics and has held the Homer C. and Emily Davis Weed Endowed Chair in Chemistry (2020-2023). He has degrees from ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and the University of Oxford (UK) and was a postdoctoral fellow at JILA in Boulder, CO.

Assistant Professor, Materials Science and Engineering

Zafer Mutlu is an assistant professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Arizona. He conducted his postdoctoral research in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2018 to 2022. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, in 2016.

Soheil Salehi is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the University of Arizona and the director of the Privacy-preserving, intelligent, and secure computing Lab (Prism Lab). Before joining the University, Soheil was a Computing Innovation Fellow (CIFellow) sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the Accelerated, Secure, and Energy-Efficient Computing Laboratory and the Center for Hardware and Embedded Systems Security and Trust at the University of California, Davis.

Rozhin Yasaei is an Assistant Professor in Cyber Operations, Intelligence, and Technology at the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) at the University of Arizona. She also contributes her expertise to the CAST Curriculum Committee, playing a role in enhancing the academic curriculum.
