CSM Director Liesl Folks and College of Engineering Dean David W. Hahn and Associate Dean Mark Van Dyke traveled to Vietnam in August 2024 to meet with leaders at the Ministry of Science and Technology and to sign memoranda of understanding with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Vietnam National University – Hanoi.

The rich and energetic discussions have led to joint proposals to share curriculum between our institutions and to focus especially on training to advance assembly packaging and test (APT) training in Vietnam, in alignment with the focus of the Vietnam government’s 2024 Semiconductor Strategy.
