Banafsheh Saber Latibari

Postdoctoral Research Associate, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Banafsheh Saber Latibari received her PhD from the University of California, Davis, in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department, where she focused on hardware security, using machine learning (ML) for hardware design and security, and developing energy-efficient and secure AI models.

During her PhD, she published research on Trojan detection using ML and employed LSTM models for static timing analysis. Her thesis involved optimizing vision transformer models for low-power devices. Currently, she is working on using large language models (LLMs) for secure hardware design.

Focus Areas:

Deep Learning, Hardware Design, Hardware Security, AI Acceleration
