DP Prakash

Dr. DP Prakash is the founder and CEO of DP2ventures Corporation, an AI systems company in New York advancing workforce development and factory productivity in semiconductors and other industries. With over three decades in semiconductor research, development, and manufacturing, including from IBM and Global Foundries, and in support of the Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing at the University of Arizona, Tucson, he is contributing to bringing the industry and academia closer together to accelerate the creation of next-generation AI engines through heterogeneous photonics integration. 

His work spans chiplets from diverse substrates, advanced packaging, and Co-Packaged Optics. His research interests range from Virtual Factory, AI Tutors, and Equipment downtime prediction systems to creating applications at the convergence of electronics, photonics, quantum computing and biological systems. 

Dr DP Prakash holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MBA from Jack Welch Management Institute, and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
