Tosiron Adegbija

Tosiron Adegbija is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, and his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. 

His research focuses on developing brain-inspired computing solutions, utilizing emerging technologies like spin-transfer torque RAM (STT-RAM) for energy-efficient, resource-constrained, and adaptable computing. His work also involves developing novel adaptable hardware accelerators for spiking neural networks and exploring hardware/software co-design to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and resource utilization. He also does research involving high-level synthesis of resource-constrained embedded systems and design automation of domain-specific architectures.

He currently serves as Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Computers and IEEE Embedded Systems Letters and has served on Technical Program Committees (TPC) and Organizing Committees for numerous IEEE and ACM conferences. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award and is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
